This Standard applies to newly manufactured static active energy meters with payment functionality of accuracy classes 0.5, 1 and 2 for direct connection, for AC up to 1 000 V, with a frequency in the range of 45 Hz to 65 Hz, which include a power control switch for the purpose of interrupting or restoring the electricity supply according to the available credit value.
