This Standard applies to plugs, fixed sockets and connectors for electric vehicles with plug and socket connections, hereinafter referred to as "accessories" in standardised configurations and intended for use in conductive charging systems for electric vehicles, whose rated AC operating voltage does not exceed 480 V, with a frequency between 50 Hz and 60 Hz and a rated current not exceeding 63 A for three-phase accessories and not exceeding 70 A for single-phase accessories.
