It specifies the immunity requirements in relation tocontinuous and transient, conducted and radiated electromagneticdisturbances, including electrostatic discharges, for theabove-mentioned apparatus.Apparatus may incorporate motors, heating elements or theircombination, may contain electric or electronic circuitry, and maybe powered by the mains, by batteries, or by any other electricalpower source.Immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz arecovered.
