Covers arterial sampling sites, potential hazards, vascular status and Allen test, umbilical artery catheter sampling from newborns, and proper handling and transportation of the arterial specimen. Contains a pictorial glossary of arterial blood collection devices, a description of cannulation, and an illustration showing the location of the brachial artery.
