Each method is described in terms of suitability, initial application and subsequent maintenance. Seals are described under the general headings of oleoresinous, seals, one-can plastics or two-can plastics, whilst the maintenance methods use sweeping powders, liquid or paste wax polishes or resin or wax emu lsions. Suitable flooring treatments for a variety of types of buildings are given. The code also contains a glossary of the terms used and an appendix on mechanical cleaning aids.
