Specifies the methods for determining seasonal energy utilization efficiency (SEUE) and annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) for: (a) oil-fired furnaces having an input of up to and including 66 kW (225 000 Btu/h); and (b) boilers having an input of up to and including 88 kW (300 000 Btu/h). Establishes minimum efficiency levels for oil-fired furnaces and boilers. Applicable to the oil-fired portion of a combination or multifuel burning appliance.
