Applies to the construction and testing of single-, paired-, multiple-conductor and coaxial communications wires and cables that is normally installed in buildings, for the control and interconnection of electrically operated communications equipment with a normal operating voltage-to-ground of no more than 150 V rms and installed or used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
