Equipment which is electrically connected to a telecommunication network and only receives its power for the network or an ac/dc source, or a combination of the two. The network having a normal operating voltage to ground of less than 150V rms and the design of the equipment is for operation in non-hazardous locations in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
