A superseded Standard is one, which is fully replaced by another Standard, which is a new edition of the same Standard.
Requirements for structure, components, performance and safety features of hand-powered and manually operated gas-powered resuscitators and resuscitator kits are specified in the Standard. Does not apply to inhalators, automatic lung ventilators or automatically triggered and patient-triggered gas-powered resuscitators.
