Annex B (Informative) Calculation of a Crazing Resistance Index
from Data Obtained by Method B
Gives two methods A and B to determine crazing resistance of glazed ceramic tableware articles that are in contact with food and have water absorption more than 0,5 % (determined according to method C of EN 1217:1997). Method A is a test for resistance to crazing owing to moisture expansion and Method A is a test for resistance to crazing owing to thermal shock and in most respects is similar to EN 1183:1995.
