This Defence Standard (Def Stan) 02-319 specifies the general requirements for the design and installation of an integral Aviation Fuel System(s) on Her Majesty (HM) Surface Ships, establishing all the necessary accessories to ensure the delivery, storage, preservation and the dispatch of Aviation Fuel direct to an aircraft, either stationed on or hovering off the Ship’s deck, at the recommended Fuelling rate.
