This Defence Standard defines requirements for adhesives used for securing mineral wool marine board (MWMB) insulation (complying with Def Stan 02-802) to painted steel, painted aluminium or Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) structure in HM Ships and Submarines in accordance with the procedures defined in Def Stan 02-703.
