    Defines the requirements for an aqueous emulsion of vinyl polymers to be used as an adhesive for securing paper or fabric labels to packages and to provide such labels with a moisture-resistant coating. It is intended to be used for fixing labels by brush application to the exterior of fibreboard or wooden containers, painted metal or unpainted aluminium (at least 99.0% A1) but not for use on unpainted aluminium alloys.
