    Relates to an emulsifiable blend of cresylic acid and orthodichlorobenzene suitable for use in the removal of organic contaminants and organic protective films, and for assisting in the removal of hard carbonaceous deposits of metal surfaces. The cresylic acid and and orthodichlorobenzene mixture is suitable for use in a bath with a 50 mm water seal, and may be heated to a working temperature not exceeding 90 C.
