Gives requirements for one grade of kerosine type aviation turbine fuel meant for use in aircraft gas turbine engines. The fuel provided to this standard shall have satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate engines or aircraft operated by the Crown, or for which the CAA is the certificating agency. The use of substances and/or procedures that may be harmful to health if adequate precautions are not taken, are called for in this standard. It makes reference to technical suitability only, and in no way absolves the designer, producer, supplier or the user from statutory and all other legal obligations that relate to health and safety.
