    Specifies the material and performance requirements for ferrous armour quality extrusions and forgings, manufactured from Def Stan 95-24 Class 2 stock material, for the protection of crew and mechanism of armoured fighting vehicles against attack. It includes a requirement for suppliers to validate their proposed material production route and for the assessment of product quality by ballistic and other tests of pre-production or prototype extrusions or forgings.
