The Ship Noise Surveys document the results of noise surveys that the Contractor performs during Builder’s Trials. The Surveys provide the procuring activity with the information required to decide whether to accept the ship as is or to authorize additional design modifications. In addition, the Surveys provide the Government with information needed to adjudicate hearing loss claims.
