9 Delivery note
This standard applies to sandlime facing bricks and sandlime hard-burnt facing bricks, in the following referred to briefly as facing bricks and hand-burnt facing bricks, used in exposed masonry which is subject to frost resistance requirements. Facing bricks and hard-burnt facing bricks are materials for loadbearing and non-loadbearing masonry, used primarily to build external and internal walls. See DIN 1053 Part 1 for loadbearing walls and DIN 4103 for lightweight partitions.
