Die B-Saugkupplung nach dieser Norm dient zum Anschluss von B-Saugschläuchen nach DIN 14810. Anmerkung: Soll für besondere Anforderungen (z. B. Öleinsatz, aggressive Atmosphäre oder Flüssigkeiten) eine B-Druckkupplung nach DIN 86203 (aus Kupfer-Zink-Legierung nach DIN 17673 Teil 1) oder eine B-Saugkupplung aus nichtrostendem Stahlguss nach DIN 17445 geliefert werden, ist dies zu vereinbaren.
