Explanatory notes

This standard is included in DIN Handbook 39. Deals with prefabricated partitions assembled with metal studs as specified in DIN 18182 Part 1, faced with gypsum plasterboard as specified in DIN 18180 and intended for installation on site as non-loadbearing internal partitions. It also covers independent wall lining only retained at both ends using metal studs as specified in DIN 18182 Part 1.
