Appendix A

Applies to the design and construction of composite columns made of concrete-encased steel sections, concrete-filled flanged steel sections or concrete-filled hollow steel sections. The sections may be rolled or welded together from individual components; in this case, the cross-sectional parameters delta shall lie within the range.
