Diese Norm gilt für die Mikroverfilmung von Zeichnungen und technischen Unterlagen. In dieser Norm werden die Faktoren festgelegt, die zur Vermeidung von Informationsverlusten anzuwenden sind, wenn Zeichnungen in Formaten nach DIN 823 auf Film 35 mm aufgenommen (Verkleinerung) oder wenn vom Film 35 mm Zeichnungen auf Papierformaten nach DIN 476 Reihe A (Vergrösserung) erstellt werden.
