Specifies requirements for and gives recommendations on the operation and maintenance of drinking water supply systems ('supply systems', for short). Compliance with these requirements will enable the operator to meet this contractual obligations as stipulated in the Verordnung uber Allgemeine Bedingungen fur die Versorgung mit Wasser (German Regulation on general conditions for water supply) and to fulfil his legal duties with respect to the safety of his premises and operation.
