Applies to private and individual drinking water supply systems with own water winning facilities, which supply only a very few consumers on a few plots of land. Systems sized to handle water demand up to 20m per day approx. shall also be deemed to be individual drinking water supply systems, and systems with their own water winning facilities, from which drinking water is extracted for food processing plants, and which are sized to handle water demand up to 50m per hour shall also be deemed to be private drinking water supply systems. Provides information and sugestions on methods of construction and operation of drinking water supply systems satisfying hygienic requirements and which are technically and economically viable and acceptable.
