Specifies requirements for GO and NOT GO plug gauges with cylindrical gauging members to be used for gauging plain workpieces and (the minor diameter of) internal screw threads. For gauging thin-walled, and hence easily distorted, components, for gauging short holes and for gauging internal screw threads, only plug gauges with Type Z gauging members are suitable.
