Specifies requirements for NOT GO gauging members with spherical ends for use with GO and NOT GO plug gauges as specified in DIN 2245 Part 2 and NOT GO rod gauges as specified in DIN 2247 Part 2. Such gauging members are not suitable for gauging thin-walled, and hence easily distorted, components, for gauging short holes and for gauging internal screw threads, gauging members as specified in DIN 2249 Part 4 being used for this purpose.
