This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 215. A survey is given of manually weldable metallic materials (found either in DIN standards or in the German Aviation Materials Manual: Werkstoff-Handbuch der Deutschen Luftfahrt), classified by material groups according to DIN 29591. The applicability (or not) of numerically coded welding processes is indicated in tabulated form by the symbol "o" (or its absence).
