Specifies requirements and methods of test for thermoset plastic (e.g. EP power, PUR and PUR tar) coatings, applied on steel pipes at the works, for normal duty, i.e. continuous service temperatures up to 30 degree C (Type N) or for special duty, i.e. for service temperatures up to +70 degree C (Type S), and for applications involving contact with soil or water.
