Describes the preparation of test pieces and the taking of the specimens therefrom. Its purpose is to determine the mechanical - technological quality values of the all-weld metal of covered rod electrodes, of wire electrodes, filler wires, filler rods and wire-powder or wire-inert gas combinations. Applicable to filler metals for the arc welding of steel and of non-ferrous metals.
