Specifies methods of testing pipe interrupters, pipe disconnectors and anti-vacuum valves ('valves', for short) complying with DIN 3266 Part 1 for fittings mounted in drinking water installations as specified in the DIN 1988 series of standards for use in both cold and hot water systems. The DIN/DVGW test mark is granted on the basis of the results of these tests.
