Mit der Veröffentlichung von DIN EN 161:2002 werden Automatische Absperrventile für Gasbrenner und Gasgeräte bis 4 bar geregelt. Stellgeräte zum Abblasen Klasse 0 für Drücke bis 4 bar sind damit nicht abgedeckt. Für den Anwendungsbereich bis 4 bar gilt diese Norm. Für Drücke 4 bar bis 16 bar gilt DIN 3394-1.
