Die Prüfung dient dazu, das Kälteverhalten von aus Radial-Wellendichtringen (RWDR) entnommenen Elastomer-Proben durch Ermittlung kalorimetrischer Vorgänge bei der Differential-Thermoanalyse (DTA) zu bestimmen. Sie wird hier angewendet, weil die DTA es gestattet, an verhältnismässig kleinen Proben das Kälteverhalten von Elastomeren zu bestimmen.
