    Das Verfahren ist anwendbar auf Wässer mit einem Gehalt an Ammonium-Stickstoff von etwa 0,03 bis 1 mg/l. Bei höheren Konzentrationen muss die Wasserprobe entsprechend verdünnt werden. Anmerkung: Bei einem Vergleichsversuch (siehe Abschnitt 2.13) war die statistisch ermittelte Bestimmungsgrenze (siehe Abschnitt 2.13, Tabelle 4) < 0,18 mg/l.
