This standard applies to double ended stud ends with parallel thread as in DIN 3852‑1 and DIN 3852‑2 and with cutting ring connection as in DIN EN ISO 8434‑1 for use in non-soldering compression fittings, and with a cutting ring connection for nominal size LL 16 as in DIN 3861.
