    Diese Norm gilt für die Prüfung des Wasserschutzes, und zwar der Schutzgrade für die zweiten Kennziffern 1 (Tropfwasser) und 2 (Schrägfallendes Tropfwasser) nach DIN 40050. Anmerkung: Zum Nachweis dieser Schutzgrade darf auch das Tropfgerät nach DIN 40053 Teil 1 verwendet werden.
