English

Covers mainly the kind of piles which are commonly met with and are in general use, i.e. prefabricated piles for building foundations, mainly axially stressed. A limitation of the scope to any particular maximum piles size is not envisaged. All possible cross-sectional shapes such as solid piles, hollow piles, beam piles and the like are included - as there is no fundamental difference in their manufacture and placing.
