Diese Norm gilt für Kabelverteilerschränke nach DIN 43629 Teil 1 und Teil 2 für Spannungen bis 1000 V zum Einsatz in Niederspannungs- Kabelnetzen. Durch diese Norm wird erreicht, dass Gehäuse einschliesslich elektrischer Einbauten ohne Ändern der Kabelenden bzw. Aufgraben der Kabel ausgewechseltwerden können. Bei offenen Türen muss die Herausnahme der Sockelplatte möglich sein.
