A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Diese Norm gilt für Zählertafeln der Ausführungen NZ, für Mess- und Steuereinrichtungen der Elektrizitätsversorgungsunternehmen (EVU), insbesondere für Zähler nach DIN 43857 Teil 1 bis Teil 4 und für Rundsteuerempfänger und Schaltuhren. Eine Zählertafel dieser Norm umfasst den Mittelteil für den Zähler, eine untere Abdeckung für Betriebsmittel vor dem Zähler und eine obere Abdeckung für Betriebsmittel nach dem Zähler.
