Diese Norm gilt nur für die Ersatzbeschaffung von Einfach- und Doppelanschlussbolzen sowie für Schaltgeräte, Messwandler und Überspannungsableiter ab 52 kV mit solchen Bolzen für den hochspannungsseitigen Anschluss. In neuen Schaltanlagen sind Geräte mit Flachanschlüssen nach DIN 46206 Teil 3 vorzusehen. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Transformatorenanschlüsse, Durchführungen und Kabelendverschlüsse.
