This standard applies together with DIN EN 12897 and specifies the requirements for thermal insulation, corrosion protection and manufacture for non-ventilated (closed) DHW cylinders with a volume of up to 2000 l, which are suitable for connection to a water supply system at an operating pressure between 0 , 05 MPa and 1.0 MPa (0.5 bar and 10 bar) suitable and equipped with control and safety devices designed so that the permissible operating temperature of the stored drinking water does not exceed 95 ° C.
