A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Diese Norm soll dazu dienen, das Entwerfen und Herstellen von Vordrucken, die mit Büromaschinen ausgefüllt werden, zu erleichtern. Hierfür werden in dieser Norm Entwurfsblätter mit Gitterlinien und Skalen entsprechend den Bewegungsschritten der Büromaschinen (Teilung und Zeilenabstand) und entsprechend dem nach typographischen Punkten bemessenen Setzmaterial der Druckereien festgelegt.
