This standard does not apply, to kindergardens; however, it does apply to rooms used for pre-schooling purposes. For rooms which are tantamount to workplaces, DIN 5035 Part 1 and Part 2 apply. For day-lighting educational establishments, DIN 5034 Part 1 applies.
