Mineral oil hydrocarbons with a sulfur content of between 0,1 and 5,0 mg/kg 1) and boiling temperatures according to DIN 51751 between 20 and 250degreeC, which contains less than 5% by volume of olefins. This method is particularly suitable for desulfurized products intended for use in catalytic processes, and for special boiling point spirits according to DIN 51631 and aromatic substances.
