    One specimen of the oil to be tested, the saponification number of which in accordance with DIN 51559 is known is aged for 3 days at 95 degree C in accordance with DIN 51554-1. After visual examination, the increase in the saponification number of the specimen so aged is determined in accordance with DIN 51559.
