This standard is included in DIN Handbook 56 and 56/2. These stipulations are intended to enable ultrasonic testing of claddings produced on steel by welding, rolling and explosion to be carried out manually on the basis of standardization concepts. The stipulations cover the testing technique, preparation and procedure of the test and also the reporting.
