This applies to weatherproof outfits worn as protection against the effects of wind, precipitation and wet ground. In cold weather, a yellow weatherproof outfit complying with the specifications given in clause 4 may be worn in conjunction with a DIN 61537 thermal waistcoat over outer garments to provide winterproof clothing within the meaning of the Verordnung uber besondere Arbeitssschutzanforderungen bei Arbeiten im Freien vom 1. November bis 31. Marz (Regulation on special occupational safety requirements for outdoor work between 1 November and 31 March). For other applications, weatherproof outfits may also be manufactured in different colours.
