This standard is included in DIN Handbook 215 and DIN DVS Handbook 215. Applies to indications on drawings for welded metallic component parts used for aerospace equipment. To guarantee the required quality level of weldments, the drawings shall include appropriate and satisfactory welding details intended to serve as instructions for the production and quality inspection of welded joints and to demonstrate weldability of the component parts.
