This shall be used to demonstrate the quality of seamless tubes in steel, nickel and titanium alloys with dimensions as per corresponding dimensional standard, provided the external diameter is not less than 5 mm. The purpose of the ultrasonic inspection is to detect defects below the surface as well as on the inner and outer wall surfaces of the tube.
