Das in dieser Norm festgelegte Verfahren dient zur Ermittlung von Eigenschaften bei Zugbeanspruchung von faserverstärkten Kunststoffen aus Faserhalbzeug (Garne, Rovings, Filamentgewebe) und Matrixsystemen mit Kohlenstoffasern, Glasfasern oder Aramidfasern als Verstärkungstoffe. Bestimmt werden Zugfestigkeit, E-Modul aus Zugversuch und Bruchdehnung bei Beanspruchung parallel zur Faserorientierung bzw. in Kett- oder Schussrichtung.
