A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Specifies characteristic values for the burning behaviour of textile fabrics used in the manufacture of industrial and protective clothing (see Explanatory notes). Additional assessment criteria, e.g. thermal transmittance, apply for special protective clothing, such as clothing designed to give protection against heat. The principles laid down in DIN 66080 shall be observed when applying.
